1798 Baptism of Pedro Jose Gonzalez

This is the 1798 Baptism of Pedro Jose Gonzalez who was baptized in Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He is my 4th great-grandfather.

The record indicates that the parents for Pedro Jose are Juan Gonzalez and Maria Albina de la Garza. His godparetns were Jose Antonio Peña and Maria Antonia Peña.

Pedro grows up to marry Maria Juana Cuellar the daughter of Joseph Antonio Guillermo Cuellar and Maria Juana de Dios Lopez.

En esta Parroquia de la villa de Mier en catorce de Marzo
de noventa y ocho. como Cura de ella Baptise Solemnemn
te puse los santos oleos y sagrado Chrisma a un niño de
Espl. de dose dias de nacido a quien puse por nombre Pedro
Jose hijo legitimo de Juan Gonmzalez y Maria Albina de la
Garza fueron sus Pasdrinos Jose Anto. Peña, y Maria Antonia
Peña a quienes adverti su obligacion, y parentesco; y para que
conste lo firme. Ut Supra.
