Last Names of Nuevo Leon

This is the June 15, 1691 marriage of Pedro de Salazar and Ines Rodriguez Montemayor who got married in what is nowadays Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. They are my 8th great grandparents.

Unfortunately, this record does not mention whom the parents of Pedro where since I have yet to find out their names. The parents of Ines Rodriguez de Montemayor are Diego Rodriguez de Montemayor and Ines de la Garza.

Here is the transcription to the above record so that you can more easily read it.

  1. Hello Moises. Cousins again. I am descendant, not of Ines and Pedro, but from three of her brothers and sister: Margarita Rodríguez, Francisco Rodríguez and Juan Rodríguez, all of them sons and daughters of Diego Rodriguez de Montemayor and Maria Ynez de la Garza Falcón.
