1821 Baptism of Jose Gil Lopez Rios
Last Names of Nuevo Leon

This is the September 16, 1821 Baptism of Jose Gil Lopez Rios who was baptized in San Gregorio Magno in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He is my 3rd great grandfather.

It is mentioned int his record that the parents of Jose Gil Lopez Rios are Lorenzo Lopez and Maria Barbara Rios.

The record also indicates that he was seventeen days old at the time he got baptized. It also mentions that he was born in Los Hoyos, present day Los Aldamas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

He grows up to first marry Maria del Rosario de la Garza and then Anastacia Hinojosa.

Yo el Cura baptise solemnemte. a Jose Gil Espl. de diez y siete dias nacido en los Hoyos
hijo de D. Lorenso Lopez, y de Da. Ma. Barbara Rios: fueron Padrinos D. Jose Yrineo Garcia
y Da. Ma. Gertrudis Lopez: advertirles el parentesco y obligacion y lo firme.
