1732 Marriage of Nicolas Cantu and Maria Teresa Guajardo
Last Names of Nuevo Leon

This is the April 20, 1732 Marriage of Nicolas Cantu and Maria Teresa Guajardo who got married in what is now Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Both of them are my 6th great grandparents.

The record indicates that the parents of Nicolas Cantu are listed as Carlos Cantu and Josepha Gonzalez Hidalgo.

It also mentions that the parents of Maria Teresa Guajardo are listed as Joseph Guajardo and Margartia Gutierrez.

I am a descendant of theirs through their son Joseph Santiago Cantu who married Maria Rosalia de Villarreal.

  1. Hi Moises,
This gets so confusing. Your 6X grandmother is the sister to two of my 6th grandmothers (is this even possible?), Ana Maria Guajardo Gutierrez b. 1698 and Maria Isabel Juana Guajardo. Very confusing. Maybe I have it wrong.
