Juan Antonio Gonzalez, 1846 Death, Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico

The following is the 1846 death record of my 6th great grandfather Juan Antonio Gonzalez whom was married to Anastacia Hinojosa. He was burried in Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The cause of death listed is “various accidents due to old age”. Unfortunately this document does not list his age but was married in 1781 so this puts him around 70 or more years old. He was the son of Nicolas Gonzalez and Ana Josefa Garcia.

I am from the Nicolas Gonzales line too married to Ana Josefa Garcia. I show that he had a son by the name of Alvino Gonzalez and that Alvino Gonzalez had a son rafael Gonzalez. Is this your Rafael that you are looking for?

I am from this line thru Juan Antonio Gonzalez and then thru his son ireneo Gonzalez, and then thru his son, Benito Gonzalez and then thru his son Tomas Gonzalez and his second wife maria Perez, and then thru their daughter Elida Gonzalez who married my father, Jose Garza Y Garza Ruiz in 1935 in Duval County, Texas. He was from the Paras, N.L. area. Benito Gonzalez married Viviana Elizondo descendant of el Senor de la Carrera land grantee, Dionicio Elizondo.
