1779 Marriage of Jose Luis Ruiz de Guadiana and Maria Micaela Flores
Last Names of Nuevo Leon

This is the May 4, 1779 Marriage of Jose Luis Ruiz de Guadiana and Maria Micaela Flores. They are my 6th great grandparents who got married in Sabinas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Unfortunately, this record does not mention the names of the parents of Jose Luis but it does mention that he was the widower of Juana Josefa de la Garza. John Inclan in his research has said that Jose Luis and Juana Josefa got married on January 14, 1765, in Linares, Nuevo Leon, but I have not been able to find the record.

This record mentions that the parents of Maria Micaela are Jose Nicolas Flores and Maria Isabel Saenz and both are listed as deceased when the marriage took place. Since I do not have a death date for them, I added "bef. May 4, 1779" as their death date to help me narrow down my research on them.

Here is the transcription of the image.
