1720 Baptism Record of Blas Javier Alanis
Last Names of Nuevo Leon

This is the November 8, 1720 baptism record of Blas Javier Alanis, my 7th great-grandfather, who was baptized in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

The baptism record states that Blas was born on November 28, 1720 and after looking at the subsequent records it seems that the month is wrong since they were corrected to reflect December but not the record of Blas. It is my belief that he was baptized December 8, 1720.

His parents are listed as Joseph de Alanis and Maria Theresa Rodriguez.

Below is the transcription of the baptism record.
