1719 Death Record of Nicolas Marroquin in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico
Last Names of Nuevo Leon

This is the death record of Nicolas Marroquin, dated August 17, 1719. Nicolas is my 7th great grandfather and he died in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

This record indicates that Nicolas Marroquin used to be married to Francisca Rodriguez. You can see their marriage record here: 1707 Marriage of Nicolas Marroquin and Francisca Rodriguez

Unfortunately I have yet to discover whom the parents of Nicolas are. As for the parents of Francisca Rodriguez they are Francisco Rodriguez de Montemayor and Ramona de Ayala.

Nicolas is also the progenitor of the Marroquin surname in Nuevo leon, Tamaulipas, and South Texas. He is also the focus of the book "Marroquin: Last Names of Nuevo Leon".
