The record indicates that the parents of Critobal are Captain Nicolas Gutierrez and Clara de Renteria. His godparents are listed as Joseph Martinez and Ynes de la Garza.
Cristoval grows up to marry Isabel de Benavides the daughter of Bernardo Benavides and Francisca Reyes.

Cristobal Gutierrez De Lara is my 6th great grandfather on Maternal side, I just figured out two of their daughters are also my grandmothers, this family line is a bit confusing , it looks like the sisters are both on my maternal and paternal lines
