Introduction of Volume One by Crispin

Crispin Rendon

Author/Researcher

Volume one starts with marriages found on Film 605094. This volume has information taken from the first 500 records starting on October 1703 and ending on April 1723. These records are found on images 1-122. The plan is to create a dozen volumes of 500 records each. Basic information from the marriage record is presented along with other information gathered in an attempt to present two generations descendant reports. Not all marriages result in descendants. Most of non-marriage record information presented was gathered using the FamilySearch.org database index.

  1. I wanted to ask about the index. What does the number mean or indicate? like in volume 5 (families Saltillo, Coahuila), I look at the index of names but don’t understand what they actually stand for because the Name example “Maria Teresa Esclava” then it has the no#314. What does that mean? Can you help please and i appreciative. Thank YOu.
