Last Names of Nuevo Leon
This is the 1917 Civil Registry Death record for my 2nd great grandmother Leandra Ramirez. Her parents are not listed here but from other documents they are Guadalupe Ramirez and Antonia Martinez. I have yet to find who her grandparents where. If anyone knows please email me.

Acta numero ( 68 ) sesenta y ocho

En la Ciudad de Mier Tamaulipas a las diez de la manana del dia veintidos de Septiembre de mil novecientos diesisiete: Ami, Juaquin Ramirez Juez del Registro Civil, me fue entregada una acta del tenor siguiente: Acta no ( 1) uno = “Encargatura de la Meca. = “En el Rancho de la Meca Jurisdiccion de Ciudad Mier Tamaulipas a las dos de la tarde del dia veinte del mes de Septiembre de mil novecientos dieciciete: Ante mi Encargado propietario, comparecio, el Ciudadano Evaristo Ramirez casado labrador de esta comprencion, manifestando que a las once de la manana del dia veinte de Septiembre del mismo ano fallecio la Senora Leandra Ramirez a la edad de sesenta y siete ,anos, Mexicana, del Rito Catolico, con Residencia en la Meca, agrego el compareciente que la finada fue esposa del finado Juan Tanguma de esta vecindad, y que deja desendientes, que el cadaver fue sepultado en el Cemeterio de la Meca. Fueron testigos de esta inscripcion los Senores Baltazar Garcia y Tomas H. Rodriguez, el primero casado, y el segundo soltero mayores de edad y de esta vecindad. Leida esta acta al compareciente y testigos estuvieron conformes y firmaron. = Doy fe = El Encargado propietario = Jose Hinojosa = Compareciente = Evaristo Ramirez = Testigo = Tomas H. Rodriguez = Testigo = Baltazar Garcia = Rubricas. Se Archivo el acta original = Doy fe. = Juaquin Ramirez = Rubrica.
