Last Names of Nuevo Leon

1st Generation

Yldefonso Zamora (my great-grandfather) was born About 23 Jan 1886 in Mier, Tamaulipas to Gabino Zamora and Marta Garza. I have yet to find any documents with his death date.  He married 1st Felipa Rios on Oct. 4, 1920 in Los Aldamas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Felipa, daughter of Andres Rios and Pilar Gonzalez, was born About 1904 and died on an unknown date. He met 2nd Elena Tanguma (my great-grandmother), daughter of Juan Tanguma Pena and Leandra Ramirez Martinez.

14. Juan Tanguma (my grandfather) was born on Feb. 14, 1914 in Mexico and died on Dec. 10, 1981.

  13. Santos Zamora was born on Jun. 6, 1923 in Mexico and died on an unknown date.
  14. Juan Tanguma was born on Feb. 14, 1914 in Mexico and died on Dec. 10, 1981.  He married Maria Josefina Lopez. Maria Josefina, daughter of Cesareo Lopez and Maria Trevino, was born on Mar. 19, 1925 in la joya/ corpus christi, texas and died on Feb. 20, 2010 in McAllen Medical Center, McAllen, Hidalgo, Texas, USA.

Note: If anyone has more information about anyone in this post please let me know. I have so many brick walls with this family.
