1736 Marriage of Juan Perez and Francisca Javiera de Villarreal
Last Names of Nuevo Leon

This is the August 13, 1736 marriage of Juan Perez and Francisca Javiera de Villarreal who got married in what is now Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. They are my 6th great grandparents.

It is unfortunate that this record does not mention who their parents were. It does mention that both of them were mestizo. Mestizo is the offspring of a Spaniard and a Native American.

I assume that the parents of Juan are not listed since he was previously married to Manuela Garcia but I have not been able to find that marriage record. Also, this record indicates that the parents of Javiera are unknown.

Below is the transcription of the above marriage record so that you can more easily read it.
