Last Names of Nuevo Leon

If you have family or ancestors with a connection to Mier then this resource is perfect for you. The Mier Church Death Records from 1767 through 1903 have been indexed and made into two books by our friends at the Spanish American Genealogical Association (SAGA) out of Corpus Christy, Texas.

You can also find these records indexed at familysearch.org but believe me it is easier to just use the books.

Book One 1 covers A – Guzman and Book 2 from Her – Z.

Book Cover:

Mier Church Death Records

How to Use Them:

Once you find an entry for one of you ancestors click on the following links to go and browse for the original image.

I have personally found this books to be very valuable and have become indispensable in researching my own family.

If you are researching this area and are interested in obtaining a copy of these books you can buy them from SAGA off their website: www.sagacorpuschristi.com. You can also borrow a copy from the University of Texas Pan American or find a local library that has a copy using WorldCat.
