Last Names of Nuevo Leon
The following is the 1794 baptism record for my 5th great grandmother Maria Gregoria Isaguirre Gonzalez. She was the daughter of Jose Manuel Isaguirre Vela and Maria Dorotea Gonzalez Ramos. Baptism took place in what is now Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

En esta Parroquia de la Purisima concepcion de Mier, en veinte dias del mes de Marzo de noventa y cuatro, como cura de ella Baptise Solemnemte. a una Ninoa de ocho dias de nacida, a quien puse por nombre Maria Gregoria espa. hija lexitima de Jose Manuel Ysaguirre, y de Maria Dorotea Gonzalez vesa. de esta Villa, fueron Padrinos Jose Miguel Ramirez, y Maria Manuela Ysaguirre a quienes adverti su obligacion y parentesco, y para que conste lo firme ut supra.
