Last Names of Nuevo Leon

This is the July 18, 1695 church marriage record of my 8th great grandparents Antonio Guerra and Antonia de la Garza. Last week I shared with you Antonio's baptism record.  Antonio and Antonia got married in what is now Monterrey Nuevo Leon. Their marriage record is a bit torn but fortunately for us we are only missing the name of probably one witness.

The record does not mention it but there is a marriage dispensation that states that the parents of Antonio are Ignacio Guerra Canamar and Maria de la Garza Cavazos. Antonia's parents are Alfarez Nicolas de la Garza and Maria de Trevino.
