The following is the 1826 baptism record of my maternal 3rd great grandmother Maria del Rosario de la Garza. She was the daughter of Carlos de la Garza and Gertrudis Garcia. I have an idea of whom her grandparents were but I have yet to find a document proving it. It is interesting to note that Carlos de la Garza and Gertrudis Garcia were also the godparents for my paternal 3rd great grandmotherÂ

En esta Parroquia de la Villa de Mier en diez y seis de Mayo de mil ochocientos veinte y seis yo el Presbytero Felipe de Jesus Cepeda Cura interino de Esta Villa bautize solenemte. a Ma. del Rosario, de nueve dias, hija lega. de Carlos de la Garza y de Gertrudis Garcia, del Arcabuz: fueron Padrinos Pedro Gonzalez y Juana Cuellar; y pa. qe. conste lo firme.Â
