This is the January 4, 1672 baptism of my 8th great grandfather Antonio Guerra in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. It is noted that he is the son of Ignacio Guerra and Maria Cavazos.
Ignacio grows up to marry Antonia de la Garza Treviño. I am a descendant of his through my fathers side and descend form him through his son Jose Francisco Antonio Guerra.
I first found the clues for this record on a web site by Jose O. Guerra Jr. It did not have the location but I assumed it was Monterrey since not that many locations have records that far back and guess what I was right. Oh, by the way either he was off by two days or I entered the date wront. He had the baptismal date as January 2, 1672 so the lesson here is use internet information as clues and also check the records next to the supposedly date if you can't find it.
