The following is the August 14, 1900 baptism of Maria Trevino, my great-grandmother through my mother's side. She was the mother of Jose Fina Lopez, my maternal grandmother. Hes was baptised in Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
For a very long time, I could not get any information about her until I found her Civil Marriage Registration with Cesareo Lopez on Dec 21, 1915.
She was born Jul 01, 1899, in Rancho Los Trevinos, Tamaulipas, Mexico and on Aug 04, 1900, she was baptized in Ciudad Mier.
I have yet to find her Death Certificate and family lore is that she is buried in Carrizales, Tamaulipas, Mexico. If family stories are true Carrizales is near Reynosa. Also, there is a story that mentions that she was poisoned by a lady who wanted her gone so she could have a chance of winning her husband Cesareo's love.
If anyone has any other information on Carrizales please let me know. The following document lists her parents as being Hesiquio (Exiquio) Trevino and Maria de Jesus Trevino.

En la yglesia parroquial de Ciudad Mier a los catorce dias del mes de Agosto de mil novecientos el Presbitero Cipriano Najera cura encargado de la misma bautize solemnemente puse el Santo Oleo y Sagrado crisma a una nina que nacio en el Rancho de los Trevino el primero de Julio del ano pasado y le puse por nombre Maria hija legitima de Hesiquio Trevino y Maria de Jesus Trevino. Fueron padrinos Secundino Trevino y Crescecia Gonzalez a quenes adverti su obligacion y parentesco espiritual. Y para que conste firme.

Maria's mtDNA is D1 and it is indigenous. I have been able to trace her maternal line back to Catalina Ponce who was the wife of Melchor de los Reyes. Catalina and Melchor lived in what is now Miguel Auza, Zacatecas, Mexico during the middle of the 1600s.

My grandmother’s parents were Catarino Rodriguez and his wife was Dominga Trevino both from Bexar County Texas. My grandmother was born in Losoya Texas. Dominga’s parents names were Gregorio Trevino and Carmen. Do you have any of these people in the Trevino ancestry? I would really like to know more on the family
I do not have them on my family tree. All the Trevinos that I have are from North Tamaulipas and have yet to research the extended family. I do not know if you have done this already but at FamilySearch there are many results about them.
