Joseph Manuel Ayala and Josepha Antonia Cantu, 1732 Marriage In Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

The following is the 1732 marriage record for my wife’s 6th great grandparents Joseph Manuel Ayala and Josepha Antonia Cantu. They married in Monterrey Nuevo, Leon Mexico. The following document indicates that Manuel’s parents were Nicolas de Ayala and Antonia de la Garza. Josepha’s parents are listed as Joseph Cantu and Gertrudis de la Garza. The document also indicates that they had received a dispensation for being related in the 3rd degree. I have yet to search for their marriage dispensation. Continue reading

Joseph Isidro de Ayala and Maria Ynes Gonzalez, 1775 Marriage in Monterrey, Nuevo leon, Mexico

The following is the 1775 transcription to the marriage of my wife’s 5th great grandparents Joseph Isidro de Ayala Cantu and Maria Ynes Gonzalez Guerra. This documented reveled that Maria’s parents are Jose Gonzalez Hidalgo and Maria Rita Guerra and that she was original from El Topo de Los Gonzalez, Present day possibly San Nicolas de Los Garza, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Isidro’s parents are lsited as Joseph de Ayala and Antonia Cantu. Both fathers are listed as being deceased the time the marriage took place. Co. y leydose tres amonestaciones intermisarum solemnia en los dias dos, conco y doze del resente mes y no resultado impedimiento alguno asisti con presiencia de los testigos que lo fueron el Sachristan Dn. Juan Jose de Melo y Diego Jose Valdez del Matrimo. solemne qe. contraxo Don. Ysidro de Ayala esp. originario y vezino del topo de Ayalas deesta felixecia hijo lexitimo de Don. En dies y seis de henero de Setesientos y sinqta. y dos anos Baptise solemnemte. a Joseph Isidro espanol de catorse dias lexmo. de Joseph Manuel de Ayala; y de Antta Cantu; Padrinos Pedro Joseph Lozano; y Anna Ma. de la Garza Vecinos de la estancia de Sn. Nicolas; a quienes dixe su obligacion.
