Saltillo Del Recuerdo – Blog and Facebook Profile Dedicated to Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico

Just wanted to let you know about another great resource that I found on Facebook, it is called “Saltillo del Recuerdo” managed by Jaime Mendoza Zamora.

I came across it since from time back I have been following the Facebook page “Archivo Gral Del Estado de Coahuila”  and they happened to share one of their posts.

As you may already be aware of some of my ancestors were part of the founding families of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. In particular Alberto Del Canto my 10th great grand father whom is credited as being the founder of Saltillo.

To read more about Saltillo you can check out Wikipidia’s page since it is very detailed; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saltillo.

I am also aware that many of my readers have the same ancestors as I do and others also have roots in Saltillo. I know that when you visit this Facebook profile and blog you will really enjoy reading it. It has many great pictures and stories to go with them.

Overall I highly recommend that you do check this Facebook Profile and blog.
