Since 1954 The Texas Historical Foundation has been publishing stories and history about Texas in their magazine named Heritage Magazine. There is a subscription fee but it is your choice if you want to subscribe.
The purpose of this short blog post is to make you aware that all their past issues are online and available for free at The Portal to Texas History.
If you are into Texas history this is an excellent resource. I have already read several of the magazines and they are excellent. Don’t take my work for it check them out yourself.
