I have had the pleasure of corresponding with Dr. Ruben D. Pastrana Guerrero, Cronista de Los Aldamas, N.L. by email. If you are interested in the Municipality of Los Aldamas, Nuevo Leon, Dr. Pastrana is the person you need to talk to. His knowledge is extensive as well as the work he has done.

He has been residing in Los Aldamas since 1984 and in 1992 he was named the official historian for the Parroquia de Guadalupe de Los Aldamas. Then in 1997 he became a member of the State association of Cronistas Municipales for Nuevo Leon. He also served as Mayor for Los Aldamas from 2000 to 2003. Finally in 2006 he was named as the official Cronista for the municipality.

Excellent Work:
I had the pleasure of reading three articles that he wrote about two local persons and one about a General whose death came about in the hands of Villistas just outside Los Aldamas. Bellow are their titles and they will be published soon is a new book. He is also working on book about Los Aldamas and it will contain old photos about the town and its people.
