Last Names of Nuevo Leon
This is the 1830s Church marriage record of my 3rd great grandparents, Manuel Marroquin and Guadalupe Rodriguez. Manuel Marroquin was the son of Juan Jose Marroquin and Maria Gertrudis Valdez. Guadalupe Rodriguez was the daughter of Jose Antonio Rodriguez and Maria Ygnacia Silva. This document is vey interesting since it indicates that they are related by 3rd and 2nd grades of consanguinity, meaning that they were related. Manuel’s maternal grandmother was Maria Antonia Rodriguez and might be related to Guadalupe’s father Jose Antonio Rodriguez. Unfortunately I have not been able to find the grandparents of Guadalupe Rodriguez in order to have a clearer picture of there relation.
